Frederick G. Uhlmann, Founding Member/Senior Portfolio Manager

Mr. Uhlmann was born in 1929. He attended Washington & Lee University, and has been in the securities and futures industry since 1951.

Fred is the Founding Member and Senior Partner of Uhlmann Price Securities, LLC, a FINRA registered Broker-Dealer. Concurrently, Fred is a Senior Vice President of Man Financial, Inc. Prior to Man Financial, he was Senior Vice President at First Options/LIT and a Securities Broker with its parent firm, Spear, Leeds & Kellogg. Fred has been with several Wall Street and Futures firms, including Drexel Burnham Lambert in the 1970's through early 1980's.

He has served as the Chairman of the Chicago Board of Trade, Vice Chairman of the National Futures Association, Chairman of the Futures Industry Association and a board member of the Futures Industry Institute. He was also a founding board member of the Chicago Board of Options Exchange.

In 2005, in recognition of his outstanding contribution to the futures and options community, Fred was selected as an inaugural member of Futures Industry Hall of Fame, joining a select group of individuals including Alan Greenspan, Robert Dole and Leo Melamed.
