TRAKRS (Total Return Asset Contracts) are exchange-traded, non-traditional futures contracts offered by the Chicago Mercantile Exchange in collaboration with Merrill Lynch & Co. Inc. Based on the TRAKRs indexes, these contracts are designed to provide a tool for managing risk on investments in those indexes, or a way to gain market exposure to the index issues with a single transaction.
Rogers International Commodity TRAKRS (the “Rogers TRAKRS”) are designed to enable customers to track the performance of the Rogers International Commodity Index® (the “RICI”). With one transaction, Rogers TRAKRS allow investors to gain exposure to 35 different commodities, including agricultural, energy and metals products.
Uhlmann Price Securities, through a clearing agreement with Merill Lynch, offers clients access to the RICI® TRAKRS. Clearing arrangements with Merrill Lynch also include the opportunity to offer the complete suite of TRAKRs futures contracts.
